My goal for my development and My contribution to make India

This essay talks about my visions and goals to become Sitarist and my contributions to make India through that.

My goal is to become a sitarist. I want to become just like my teacher Gopinath and great sitarist like Ravishankar , Vilayath khan and so on. I want to be master of sitar. I want to make further studies in music.

India has a rich heritage of classical music. Indian classical music is divine. There are many great musician who have seen god through music. Like saint Tyagaraja, Kabir Dasa, Tansen, Kanakadasa, Purandara dasa and so on.

I want to propagate music through out the world and make India proud. I want to open gurukulas where music is thought through guru shishya -parampara exclusively for sitar. In these gurukulas students learn sitar day-in-day-out. These gurukulas should be accessible to people from all walks of life without any kind of discrimination. Deserving students would be taught without any charges . India is a country of villages and I want to spread music in rural parts of India too. People from villages should get music education free. I want to bring up many talents who are going to became famous musicians and take forward my mission.

Like this, through music I want to contribute to Indian culture and heritage.

A Book Review

Recently I read a book named Matilda .this book has been written by Roald Dhal and it was published in the year 1988. This small summary is about a 3 year child and the treatment gave by her parents.

Matilda was a 3 year child. She joined the school when she was 5.Mr and Mrs Wormwood were her parents. she was so talented that she had already read all the books of the library which was 5 minutes walk from her house. Her parents were not looking after her nicely. They were earning money in the bad way, like her father was earning by decreasing the Speedo meter of the second hand cars and putting sawdust inside the engine so that the car moves smoothly and cheating people, her mom was earning by going to bingo.

After Matilda joined the school she improved. The teacher's name was miss Honey. She was so humble. She was not scolding or beating children. But the head teacher was very rude. Her name was Trunchbull. When she got angry she would throw children out side the window. Actually her first name was Agatha and she was the aunt of miss Honey. She was taking classes on Thursdays.

After few weeks miss honey took Matilda to her house. Her house was small and simple. Miss Honey gave tea to Matilda and she told Matilda the whole story of her childhood days. The next day was miss Trunchbull's class. Her class was in afternoon. When her class was going on suddenly Matilda felt that some power came to her eyes. That was like lifting things up, closing and opening of windows and doors etc by looking at them. Suddenly Matilda lifted the chalk by her eyes and started to write what miss Honey told about the behavior of miss Agatha. When miss Trunchbull saw this she fell unconscious. Finally miss Trunchbull left Miss Honey's house the next morning. Then miss honey and Matilda moved to that house. That day Matilda's parents came to take Matilda to Spain but Matilda didn't want to go with her parents. So she was adopted by Miss Honey.

Ravana v/s sita

Once ravana disguised himself as a saint and came to take sita to lanka. So ravana came to the place where Sita was living and by standing in front of the hut said" BHAVATI BIKSHAN DEHI" .Then Sita came with the fruit bowl and stood in front of him to give him the food. Ravana says "oh Sita, I am not a saint , I am Ravana". Sita was more clever than Ravana and said "oh Ravana , I am not Sita, but I am sita's maid."

My dream trip

On one of the Sundays we went to the Innovative film city in Bidadhi near Bangalore. .There were games, museums such as Go carting, Aqua kingdom, Roller coaster, Roller skates, Haunted mansion, Believe it or not, Wax museum, 4D film, Mirror maze etc. The most loved one was mirror maze. My cousins and I went inside. It was so beautiful that we were not able to recognize where the mirror is. Suddenly we were captured by a mirror. We didn’t understand what to do. We saw so many children there; I was not able to open my eyes. My cousin was holding me tightly so that I would not dash anywhere and another cousin was shouting that “Hamsi and Smitha come on! We are having our supreme powers, by using that we can get out of here.” Then cousin and I said “yes Ati we are coming”. We started running and I dashed against a mirror. Suddenly I woke up and I realized that I had dashed against the wall.
